Clearing your cache is an important step to accessing sites with ease and without trouble. This should be done regularly, as if it is not, your internet and searching may slow down or not work as intended.

Clearing your cache will also change depending on which browser you're using. Please read below to see which set of steps pertain to your browser.

Chrome:

  • First, open Google Chrome.

  • From here, click on the 'more' button located on the right hand side of the browser window. (This will appear as three vertical dots on the right hand side of the screen)

  • Once clicked, go to the History tab, and click 'History' one more time.

  • This will take you to an additional page where you can view your browser history. You'll also be able to clear all your browsing data, which will be a button visible on the left hand side of the screen.

  • After this, you'll have to decide how far back you would like to clear this from and clear the data from the button at the bottom of the screen.

Safari:

  • Click on the Safari button on the top left hand side of the screen.

  • Once here, click on preferences, and privacy settings in the window that will appear.

  • Here, you should see a button that says "remove all browsing data"

  • After you click this, your cache will be cleared.

Firefox:

  • First, open the browser.

  • From here, click on the 'History' tab located on the top section of the screen.

  • Then, you'll see a option to decide the how far back you would like to clear this data. Recommended is 'Everything' to make sure the browser runs the best possible.

  • Once this is selected, click the 'Clear data' button at the bottom of the screen.
