Create a new Facebook Business Account

Meta Business Manager/Business Account is a tool that helps you organize and manage your business. You can add other team members, ad accounts, Facebook pages, domain and set up 2FA to one business account.

To create a new business account:

  1. Go to business.facebook.com/overview. (If you see that you have a business account already, you can select one of them and start adding an ad account.)

  2. Click Create account

  3. Enter a name for your business, your name and work email address and click Submit.

  4. Go to the email that you just entered and find the confirmation email to verify the business account.

Once you've opened the business account, follow these steps to connect everything together:

  1. Add an ad account

Make sure to use the ad account that's showing on StreetText and add it over to Facebook business account.

Click below to see the detailed steps:

If you don't see any ad accounts you can use (getting unknown errors), you can create a new ad account instead.

Here is how you can create a new ad account on Facebook and connect it on StreetText:

2. Connect Facebook Page

Add in the Facebook page that you want to use to run ads.

Go to Pages under Accounts on the left hand side.

Click the blue 'Add' button and select 'Add a Page'

Start typing in your Facebook page name and select. If you don't remember the page name, you can find it on StreetText here.

3. Assign StreetText as CRM and grant Lead Access

Go to Integrations tab on the left hand side and click 'lead access'.

Click 'Customize access'

Click 'Confirm'

Click 'CRM' tab

4. Verify the Business Account

Scroll down and click 'Business info' on the left side of the screen.

Find Two-factor authentication under Business options and click the drop down bar at the right. Change it from 'No one' to 'Admins only'.

Under 'My Info' section, click on the 'edit' button on the right side and edit the email if it's not added in there already.

Once the email is added, check your inbox for a confirmation email and click 'confirm now' button in that email. If you can't find the confirmation email, go back to that Business Info page and click resend verification email.
