The article below will cover the exact steps to integrate StreetText with Sierra. If you are looking to have this done for you automatically, click this quick link: Sync StreetText to Sierra for Me

And for a small fee, our team can make this happen, if you would prefer to do this yourself I have included all the steps below.

Keep in mind you will need a Zapier Subscription to make this work correctly. If you have us do it for you, you won't need a Zapier Subscription.

Why can't I just use Email Parsing from StreetText?

Unfortunately as of this time of writing, Sierra can accept leads through email parsing but it seems unable to read Tags.

If you only need to pass the leads through, then you can view thIs Article: How to Set up Sierra with Email Parsing.

Okay, let's get started.

Step 1: StreetText to Zapier

Log in to your Zapier Account and click "Create Zap"

And start searching for StreetText

Under Event select "New Lead"

Click "Continue"

Click on Connect StreetText "Sign in" as long as you are also signed into StreetText on the same browser. This will load a popup and auto-connect.

Once connected Zapier will auto lookup new leads in your StreetText account, if you don't have any leads yet, You will need to create a test one for this to work.

Tip: I recommend doing a Home Seller Lead to see all available fields.

Once you have your lead, click Continue

Step 2: Sierra to Zapier

In the search field start typing "Paths by Zapier" and select it.

Then click "Edit" on Path A

If you like, you can rename Path A "Seller Leads"

Then go to "Rules setup & testing"

Under "Only Continue if..." input the StreetText field TAGS (It may show the name of the tag when inputting, and that is okay)

In the next field select "Contains"

In the last field type "Seller", provided you have not changed your Seller Tag name in your automations. Then click "Continue"

Now search for Sierra Interactive

For event, select "Create Lead" and click "Continue"

Now select "Sign in" and a new popup will open asking for an API Key. And includes a link: https://client6.sierrainteractivedev.com/integrations.aspx to open up Sierra.

Click the link and it will take you to your integrations page.

Scroll down until you see "Zapier" and select it. Click create API and copy the API key generated.

Go to back to the Popup and paste in the API key. Then click "Yes, Continue"

If you still see the "Choose account" after the popup closes Click "Continue" again.

On the "Set up action" step. Connect all the fields in the images below, the fields are in order.

Tip: You may need to click "Custom" on some of the fields to find the StreetText fields.

Tip: The password field is required and not necessary so for now just put in "password" in the field.

Then click "Continue"

You can then test the Zap by sending a lead to Sierra to check out, or click skip step.

Then click "Close"

If Zapier doesn't automatically load "Path B" then click the 'X" on the top right.

Then click "Edit" on "Path B", once again you can rename it to "Buyers" if you like.

Under "Only Continue if..." input the StreetText field TAGS (It may show the name of the tag when inputting, and that is okay)

In the next field select "Does not contains"

In the last field type "Seller", this will allow for any other tags to be identified as a buyer lead in Sierra. Then click "Continue" You could also specify the exact tag you plan to use for buyers.

You could also create more paths for specific tag names if you prefer too. But it is not necessary.

Now search for Sierra Interactive

For event, select "Create Lead" and click "Continue"

On the "Set up action" step. Connect all the fields in the images below, the fields are in order.

Tip: You may need to click "Custom" on some of the fields to find the StreetText fields.

Tip: The password field is required and not necessary so for now just put in "password" in the field.

Then click "Continue"

You can then test the Zap by sending a lead to Sierra to check out, or click skip step.

Then click "Close"

Congrats your Zap is now setup.

You just need to make sure you Select "Turn Zap On" so that it is running.

Keep in mind it can take between 5-10 minutes for your leads to show up in Sierra.
