Why an ad says "With Issues" and how to fix it

When Facebook stops an ad, StreetText now shows you Facebook's own reason and a link to fix it in Ads Manager.

Written by Stephen Whiting

Sometimes Facebook stops delivering one of your ads and marks it With Issues. StreetText now tells you why, using Facebook's own explanation, so you don't have to guess.

Where you'll see it

  • Ads page: a red Ad Has Issues warning names the ad, shows Facebook's reason, and gives you an Open in Ads Manager link.

  • Notification bell: you'll get a "Facebook has stopped one of your ads" notification.

  • Dashboard: the ad appears in your Needs attention list as Stopped by Facebook.

We don't send an email for this warning.

How to fix it

  1. Go to Ads in StreetText and find the Ad Has Issues warning.

  2. Read Facebook's reason. Common ones are an account security check (for example, "Please authenticate your account"), a billing problem, or a policy review.

  3. Click Open in Ads Manager and follow Facebook's steps to resolve it.

When the warning goes away

Once Facebook clears the issue, the warning disappears after our next daily ad sync. If you delete the ad instead, its warning is cleared overnight.

Is this different from a disapproved ad?

Yes. A disapproved ad was rejected by Facebook's ad review. An ad "With Issues" was approved but has been stopped, often because of something on your Facebook account rather than the ad itself. Both show a warning on the Ads page with a link to Ads Manager.
