Your contacts tell you a lot in their replies: that they want to sell in the spring, that they are looking for a 3 bedroom under $500k, that they are already working with another agent. The Said⦠search on the Contacts page finds those people for you, in about a second, so you can follow up with the right ones.
Smart Search comes with the Scale plan.
Search what your contacts said
Open Contacts from the left menu.
Type what you are looking for into the Said⦠box, in plain words. For example: wants to sell in the spring or 3 bed under 500k.
Press Enter.
The list now shows only the contacts whose own replies match, best matches first. Under each name you will see the line they said, in the What they said column. Click it to jump to that message.
Short searches also list contacts who used the exact word, marked Mentioned.
Check how your search was read
Above the results, the Showing people who panel tells you how StreetText understood your search. If it is not quite right, edit the text and click Search with this.
When your search has specifics, like a number of bedrooms or a price, each contact gets a tick, a cross or a dash for each detail, so you can see at a glance who is a close match.
Act on the results
The results work like any other filtered Contacts list. You can:
Select some or all of them and tag them.
Give them a goal or add them to an automation.
Export the list.
Save a search for later
Save a Said⦠search like any other filter. When you open it again it runs against your contacts' latest replies, so new people who say the same thing show up too. To clear the search, click the x in the Said⦠box.
Good to know
The search reads what your contacts wrote to you, not the messages you sent them.
You can run 25 new searches a day. Repeating a search you already ran is free.
On very large accounts, the search checks your 3,000 most recently replying contacts.
The old Smart Search page has moved here. Links to it now open the Contacts page.
If you do not see the Said⦠box, your plan does not include Smart Search. Move up to Scale from your Billing page to get it.
