Email notifications for your teammates' leads

Each teammate gets their own new-lead email for the leads assigned to them, and can change or turn it off from their own Notifications settings.

Written by Troy Mack

If you have a team, each agent can now get an email when a new lead is assigned to them, and only for their own leads. Teammates manage their own notification emails, so you no longer have to set them up for everyone.

How it works

Your Notifications settings have two kinds of notification email:

  • Account email notifications go out for every new lead on the account, whoever it is assigned to. Use these for yourself, or for a CRM that should receive everything.

  • Teammate email notifications go out only for the leads assigned to that teammate. A lead assigned to Sarah emails Sarah's address and nobody else's teammate address.

Leads that are not assigned to anyone only go to the account email notifications.

New teammates are set up automatically

When someone accepts your invitation to join your team, StreetText adds a notification email for their own address, so they start receiving their leads straight away. If your account already sends every new lead to that same address, nothing extra is added and they will not get two emails.

For teammates: managing your own

  1. Go to Settings → Notifications.

  2. Under Email Notifications, you will see the addresses that receive the leads assigned to you.

  3. Change an address or its options and click Save, click remove to stop an email, or click Add an email address to send your leads somewhere else too, like your own CRM.

You only see and change your own addresses. You never see anyone else's.

For account owners: managing your team's

  1. Go to Settings → Notifications.

  2. Email Notifications lists the account's addresses (every lead).

  3. Teammate Email Notifications lists each teammate's addresses, with the teammate shown beside each one. These only send for the leads assigned to that teammate.

  4. Click Add an email address for a teammate, choose the teammate, enter the address and click Save. You can change or remove any teammate's address here too.

Admins and advertisers on your team can manage these the same way as the owner.

Good to know

  • Each address keeps the usual options: When (created or updated), Has, Is (for example, only Facebook lead ads) and Then (a notification, or a format for your CRM).

  • Teammates who were on your team before this change do not get an address added automatically. Add one for them under Teammate Email Notifications, or they can add their own.

  • When someone leaves your team, their teammate email notifications stop straight away.
