If you have a team, you no longer have to hand out new leads yourself. Turn on lead routing and every new lead that comes in from your ads and funnels is assigned automatically to the next agent in your rotation — in order, one after another.
Who this is for
Lead routing is part of Teammates, so you'll need a plan that includes team members, and at least two active agents on your team. If your account doesn't include Teammates, you'll see an upgrade prompt instead of the settings.
Turning it on
Go to Settings → Teammates → Lead routing.
Switch Auto-route new leads to On. (Left off, every new lead stays with you on the main account — that's the default.)
Your agents appear in a rotation list. Use the up and down arrows to set the order you want them to receive leads in.
At the top of the tab you'll always see where the rotation stands: Last lead → the agent who received the most recent one, and Next up → the agent in line for the next. The agent who's next also carries a Next up badge in the list.
Which leads get routed
Leads from your Facebook lead ads — routed.
Leads from your funnels and landing-page forms — routed.
Leads you add by hand, and leads you bring in by CSV import — not routed. These stay unassigned so you can decide where they go.
The rule of thumb: leads that arrive on their own get shared out; leads you put in yourself are yours to place.
Taking an agent out of the rotation
You can pause an individual agent when they're away or at capacity. A paused agent is skipped entirely — leads go to the others — and when you resume them, they slot straight back into the rotation. Nothing is held back or delivered late.
What the agent sees
When a lead is routed to an agent, it appears in their leads list as theirs to work, and they're notified that it arrived — so nothing sits waiting for someone to notice it.
Good to know
Turning routing off stops it immediately; new leads simply stay with the main account again. Leads already assigned stay where they are.
You can still assign or reassign any lead by hand at any time — routing decides where new leads land, it doesn't lock anything.
There's one rotation per account, shared by everyone on the team.
