If you work with a team, you can hand leads to your agents so they show up in their own StreetText account. Assigning happens right from your Contacts page — one lead or hundreds at a time.

On your Contacts page, tick the checkbox beside each lead you want to hand off. A toolbar appears at the top of the list with an Assign button.

Click Assign, choose the agent you want to give the leads to, then click Assign to confirm. The leads now appear in that agent's account, and each row shows a small badge with the agent's initials so you always know who's working it.

Handing off a big batch? Tick the checkbox at the very top of the list to select the whole page, then click "Select all … leads matching your filters." Now Assign applies to every matching lead — not just the ones on screen. Any rows you've unchecked are left out.

Tip: pair this with filters to assign, say, every "Buyer" in a city to one agent in just a couple of clicks.

To take leads back, select them, click Assign, and choose Unassign — return to the main account. The leads return to your account and leave the agent's.

In your account, every assigned lead shows a coloured badge with the agent's initials on their contact photo. No badge means the lead is unassigned and sitting in your main account.

Agents can pass their own leads along too. From your Contacts page, select the leads, click Assign, and either choose another agent on the team or Unassign to send them back to the main account. You only ever see the leads assigned to you — and you won't see yourself in the list, since you can't assign a lead to yourself.

Leads are assigned to agents on your team. Admins already have full access to your account, so they don't need leads assigned to them. Want to add someone to your team first? Head to Settings → Teammates to invite them.
